If you’re thinking about upgrading your tub or shower, there’s a good chance you’ve stumbled across ZINTEX Remodeling Group. Maybe you’ve already looked at our reviews and checked out our website. You like what you see, but you still want to know: what is it that we do best? Why do people hire us, rather than one of our competitors? What are our most popular services?
Today, we’re going to answer these questions and more, providing real facts and figures from our actual remodeling experience. Read on to get a closer look at ZINTEX Remodeling Group.
Across all of our markets, we provide wet area services like walk-in shower replacements, bathtub replacements, and walk-in tub installations. In select markets, we provide additional bathroom remodeling services like new flooring and custom cabinetry. Which type of installation is most popular here at ZINTEX?
What we do the most by far is a walk-in shower installation. A whopping 90% of our projects involve installing a new, custom-designed acrylic walk-in shower. No matter what you’re replacing or how complex your new shower design is, you’ll receive complete white glove services from demolition to cleanup.
Walk-in shower installations make up 90% of our installations, but there are three types of walk-in shower installations that we tackle. These are:
Which of these is most common? Tub-to-shower conversions account for 65% of our services. Many of our customers live in older homes that are much more likely to have an existing tub-shower combo. Walk-in showers are not only a more accessible alternative to tub-shower combos, but they also bring a modern aesthetic to outdated bathrooms.
Given that 60% of our customers come to ZINTEX looking to improve the safety and accessibility of their bathrooms, we have quite a bit of experience creating safer tubs and showers. For some, this can involve installing a low-threshold shower base to minimize the ledge they have to navigate to use their shower. For others, it can involve installing a bench or folding seat to allow for seated bathing.
Of the safety features our customers can select while customizing their bathroom remodels, grab bars are by far the most popular, included in 66% of all our projects. Because we take tubs and showers down to the studs before rebuilding, we’re able to ensure your grab bars are properly reinforced. Plus, our installers will work with you to pick the best location, height, and angle of any grab bars you install to maximize functionality.
Safety features aren’t the only add-on you can use when customizing your tub or shower design. We also provide several different accessories and storage solutions, including corner shelves, recessed shower caddies, and traditional soap dishes.
Grab shelves are the most frequently requested storage accessory, used in 58% of our tubs and showers. What makes the grab shelf so popular is its versatility and dual function as a safety feature. Yes, you can use it to store items like shampoo bottles or bar soap, but the exterior bar doubles as a small grab shelf. This is an excellent option for homeowners who may not need grab bars today, but plan to remain in their home for years to come.
We mentioned already that about 60% of our customers come to us looking for a safer, more accessible shower. This is often the case when someone in their household is preparing for surgery, has increasing mobility concerns, or simply wants to enjoy more independence while aging in place.
40% of our customers identify easier cleaning and maintenance as one of their primary considerations for remodeling. Materials like tile and grout tend to be difficult to clean because exposed grout attracts mold and mildew. Outdated fiberglass units can start to look dingy even when you know they’re clean. Acrylic provides a smooth, non-porous, grout-free surface that is easier to clean than many other tub and shower materials.
We’re probably not the only bathroom remodeling company near you that can upgrade your tub or shower. We may not be the only company offering acrylic solutions. Why do customers choose us rather than our direct competitors?
Something that sets us apart from other bathroom remodelers is what we call our Fast Track Program, which roughly one-third of our customers take advantage of. While many companies promise a one-day bathroom remodel, the Fast Track Program speeds up the total timeline from contract to installation. While most remodels won’t begin until at least six weeks after you sign your contract, we can install your Fast Track walk-in shower within three weeks or less.
Now that you know that tub-to-shower conversions are our most popular service and grab bars are the most commonly installed safety feature, what’s next?
