You’re thinking about replacing your bathtub, but what does that really mean? You could get a new bathtub liner, and cover up the old tub with a new shell. You could have your bathtub resurfaced and coat the existing features with a new coat of sealant. Alternatively, you could hire ZINTEX for a real bathtub replacement.
Our goal is to understand your vision and develop a plan to make your project a reality.
After you complete our form, one of our Call Center Representatives will reach out within 24 hours to schedule a day and time for your consultation with our experienced Design Consultants.
What exactly does a ZINTEX bathtub replacement include? From a new acrylic wall system from manufacturers like Jacuzzi to custom-installed accessories, our bathtub replacement services come with a whole lot more than a surface-level upgrade. Keep reading to learn about:
When you hire a company like ZINTEX for your bathtub replacement, you get to start from scratch. We remove your old bathtub, which means you can install just about any style of tub in its place. While many of our customers go with a classic alcove bathtub, we also have experience installing oval tubs, arm rest tubs, corner tubs, and more.

Here’s a question we get often: are our bathtub replacement services specifically for bathtubs alone, or can we replace a tub-and-shower combo?
At ZINTEX, we are able to replace standalone bathtubs, replace tub-and-shower combos, and convert one to the other. For example, if you currently have a standalone bathtub but what you want is a tub-and-shower combination, we can absolutely do that.
As we mentioned earlier, we’re going to remove your old bathtub and replace it with a brand-new model. We’re also going to remove and replace the wall materials surrounding your current tub with our top-of-the-line acrylic wall system.
Why acrylic? High-quality acrylic walls are extremely easy to clean and last a minimum of 15 years (and usually closer to 20 or more). Plus, they’re available in an increasing number of colors, patterns, and premium finishes.

For example, we are a preferred partner of the renewed manufacturer Jacuzzi in many of our markets. In these markets, you can design your bathtub replacement with a standard Alabaster White or Platinum Gray wall, or you can upgrade to something like Champagne Travertine. Plus, Jacuzzi offers a variety of simulated tile and textured grout patterns.
Your tub and acrylic wall surround system aren’t complete without at least one or two custom accessories. Let’s talk about bathtub storage, safety and accessibility, and bathtub enclosures.
You can use your tub ledge to store things like shampoo bottles and bars of soap, but it’s not ideal. Not only can this create a tripping hazard if you’re using the exterior ledge, but it also creates clutter that can slow down your bathtub cleaning routine. Instead, consider adding one or more of these built-in storage accessories to your bathtub design:

If you’re thinking forward to aging in place or designing a bathtub with disability accessibility in mind, don’t forget to incorporate at least one grab bar. At ZINTEX, we install grab bars with the rest of your bathtub system. That way, we can add reinforcements as needed behind your shower walls to make sure those grab bars are attached to durable support beams with a weight limit of up to 500 pounds.
We also work with the member(s) of your household who will be using the grab bars to make sure they’re installed at the height and angle that best serves them. With a traditional bathtub layout, that almost always includes a grab bar at the entry to create stability while stepping in and out of the tub. It may include additional grab bars on other walls that make sitting in and rising from the tub safer, too.
Unless you’re installing a standalone tub, you’re going to need a bathtub enclosure. This will contain any spray while using the shower feature of your tub-and-shower combo.
The standard option is, of course, a shower rod that you can pair with the shower curtain of your choosing. This is a great budget-friendly solution that also offers design versatility. (Want a change of scenery in your bathroom? Simply swap out your shower curtain!)
Alternatively, you might prefer the look and functionality of a shower door glass enclosure. Dive deeper into your options with this guide: Which Shower Door Style Works Best for Your Bathroom Remodel?
If you’re considering replacing your existing bathtub, there’s a good chance it’s been a long time since the last upgrade. There’s an even better chance that you don’t totally know what’s happening behind the scenes.
There could be damaged or outdated plumbing connected to your bathtub. There could be a spongy, water-logged subfloor.
These are the kinds of things that a tub liner or resurfacing job can’t fix, but we can. At ZINTEX Remodeling Group, your bathtub installer has completed hundreds of projects just like yours. They have the experience and the credentials to upgrade your tub or shower plumbing, replace damaged materials, and ultimately complete the kind of bathroom upgrades that can save you from expensive repairs down the road. Plus, they can demo your bathroom, do all of these upgrades, and install your new tub in as little as one day.
If you want the type of bathtub remodel that produces drastic, lasting, and 100% customized results, we just might be the right fit for you. With over 25 years of experience and partnerships with manufacturers like Jacuzzi, we’ve worked hard to become a leader in this type of focused and impactful bathroom remodeling.
